6th Annual Innovations in e-Learning Symposium

The George Mason University Instructional Technology Program and the Defense Acquisition University will hold the 6th Annual Innovations in e-Learning Symposium on June 2 & 3, 2010 on the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The theme for the 2010 symposium is "Anytime, Anywhere Learning.” The Program Committee invites proposals for presentations in the following tracks:

COMPUTER GAMING
AND SIMULATION

The goal of this track is to inform current theory and practices in the design of electronic games and simulations. These practices may include cutting edge technologies and instructional uses of electronic games and virtual simulation tools and products.

DESIGN

An interdisciplinary and broad perspective on design that can highlight new techniques for instructional, software and application design. These techniques may include current, applied data gathering and prototyping processes germane to a broader definition of design.

MOBILE AND
SMART TECHNOLOGIES

Mobile is becoming the platform of choice for anytime, anywhere learning. Leveraging smart technologies with advanced capabilities (e.g. improved geolocation, sensor and pocket computing power) provides unparalleled learning and performance potential.
