The Kandy Electronics Company Game is a
business simulation using a board that represents the company's business
year. As they move through the year, the students track the change
in assets (cash, accounts receivable, etc.) on the board. They have
to make decisions concerning rising costs, a mature marketplace, demanding
customers, changes in the prime rate, and employee morale issues,
etc. Each year ends with an analysis of their financial position and
the board of directors' meeting. The game was developed to give government
personnel a perspective of what their suppliers and vendors have to
deal with on a daily basis. And, what it's like to have the Federal
Government as a customer. |
